Opening The Representation Office of Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shanghai was a result of the numerous and important business contacts and commercial exchanges between the Romanian and Chinese business communities, which lately have been expanding at a large scale. 

The main role of the Representation Office of Prahova CCI in Shanghai is supporting the interests of the Romanian companies on the Chinese market, information and dissemination of business opportunities and facilitate trade relations and bilateral cooperation.

In the context of the very important position that China currently holds within the world’s economy, the opening of the Representation Office of Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shanghai is a milestone for the bilateral trade perspective.

The  HAINAN AIRLINES Company located in Shanghai  is Prahova CCI’s partner  Prahova in establishment and operation of Representation Office in China.

The inauguration ceremony

On February 18th, 2011, in Shanghai, took place the ceremony of inauguration of the Representation Office of Prahova Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of about 50 guests.

The ceremony was attended by President of Prahova CCI,  Mr. Aurelian Gogulescu together with members of the Board of the Prahova CCI and local government representatives of Prahova County. The event was also attended by the General Consul of Romania in Shanghai, Mr. Florin Marius Tacu  and the representantive of the Ministry for Economy, Trade and Business Environment,  Mr. Dan Simion, Minister Counsellor, as well as leading representatives of China Council for Promotion of International Trade ( CCPIT), Romanian and Chinese businessmen.
